Vero Beach Municipal Airport is a public airport 1 mile northwest of Vero Beach in Indian River County, Florida. The airport is publicly owned. Vero Beach Municipal Airport is the home of Piper Aircraft. It has three runways which serves approximately 185,000 annual take-offs and landings. The longest runway is about 7300 feet long so big jets can easily land and take off. The airport has An FAA Air Traffic Control Tower which remains operational from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m whole year.
